Deliveries & Returns
We can only supply chemicals to trade users and professionals and only on receipt of official orders.
We deliver by our own transport within a 40 mile radius of Aberdeen (free of charge), by courier for other UK destinations (chargeable at cost) and by international air or sea freight for overseas customers (also chargeable at cost). Delivery costs are calculated at checkout.
We will endeavor to dispatch your order as quickly as possible, usually within 3-5 working days, subject to stock levels and cleared payment. If the dispatch of your order is delayed for any reason we will contact you. Orders are processed Monday to Friday during normal business working hours. Estimated delivery time is 48 hours once dispatched.
Reagents supplied by our partner, Sigma-Aldrich, can be shipped direct to our customers from Sigma's warehouses thereby ensuring next day deliveries to any UK address.
Please ensure that when accepting deliveries by carrier you sign for the number of boxes stated on the paperwork, as discrepancies cannot be rectified subsequently.
All prices published may be changed at any time without notice. All prices for the products will be as specified. If no price has been specified please contact our Customer Service team for pricing information.
Hazardous Chemical Delivery Surcharge
Certain products may attract an additional charge for special packaging (eg Dry Ice), or Duty Charge (such as Ethanol). We will notify you of any such additional charge prior to processing your order.
Should an item need to be returned please contact our Customer Service team before returning.
When contacting us please advise the following:
- Customer name and address, account number and order number
- The description of the item you wish to return to us
- The reason for your return
Items ordered in error may be returned and a credit given at our discretion. If the item you are returning is not faulty or incorrect then the cost of returning the item is your responsibility. In addition, the item is your responsibility until it reaches us.
If we have made a mistake with your order, we will be able to offer a refund or exchange and reimburse your postage costs, if applicable.
Sorry but we are unable to take back used items which are unsuitable. This is in addition to, and does not affect, your consumer rights.
